Brian Mageo-Sausser, Administrator and Life Coach
Brian is working on a clinical psychology doctoral student at Pacifica Graduate Institute, where he is studying psychodynamic psychotherapy, phenomenology, and psychoanalytic theory. He holds an M.A. in Philosophy and Religion from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
Brian's work is interdisciplinary and follows the threads of the history of philosophy, philosophy of science, psychoanalysis, critical theory, integral ecology, and religion. His orientation to coaching is existential and holistic, focusing on questions of meaning, freedom, creativity, and authentic personal discovery and self-expression. Much of his career has been spent working with youth and teens in religious and academic settings, where he has been able to offer practical guidance and emotional support in times of transition.
In his free time, Brian enjoys spending time with his family (wife, puppy, and cat), playing music, surfing, and having philosophical conversations with whoever cares to listen.
