We provide estimates for services as part of our intake process for all services. You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for aGood Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

The fee for a 50-minute psychotherapy visit (in-person or via telehealth) is $225. Most clients will attend one psychotherapy visit per week, but the frequency of psychotherapy visits that are appropriate in your case may be more or less than once per week, depending upon your needs. Based upon a fee of $225 per visit, if you attend one psychotherapy visit per week, your estimated charge would be $900 for four visits provided over the course of one month; $1,800 for eight visits over two months; or $2,700 for 12 visits over three months. If you attend therapy for a longer period, your total estimated charges will increase according to the number of visits and length of treatment.

The hourly rate for clinical therapy services through WCM shall not exceed an hourly fee in excess of $250 and varies slightly depending on the clinician and services. In unique circumstances, should you and your provider agree to a slightly reduced fee, payment for services will be adjusted accordingly.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit: www.cms.gov/nosurprises

If you receive a bill that exceeds $500 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
